A few weeks ago we drove up to beautiful Julian to pick apples. We had not gone picking apples here in San Diego since we moved here because I didn't know of any places. So once I saw someone share their photos on instagram I knew we had to go. The drive up to Julian is beautiful. A long the way you get to see cows roaming the beautiful California mountains. You are surrounded by beautiful trees and wildflowers and for a moment you forget that you are in San Diego. Julian is one of my favorite places to drive up to. They are known for some of the best pie in San Diego it was also a gold mining town so there's a lot of history there. There are also old buildings in the beautiful downtown area so it takes you back in time. So mark this place as a next destination and eat some of their yummy pies!
