Well I pretty much suck at sticking to my plan! Haha, I haven't blogged in over two weeks. Oops! Anyway, I wanted to share a quick and easy DIY I did a few days ago. As you can see yarn hanging and any sort of weaving is totally in right now. 1. I don't know how to crochet 2. I'm kinda too impatient for weaving, which i'm sure is pretty easy once you get the hang of it, but i'm just not there yet. When I first moved into our home I noticed a pretty cool driftwood stick hanging out in my backyard. I kept it since I knew I could do something totally cool with it, and I did. I'm in the middle of decorating my house (the plan is to have it all ready by the time hubby comes home) and i'm obsessed with anything yarn, wall hanging coolness. I was at the thrift store and found a pretty cool scarf that I visualized as something I could hang in my home. So I turned it into a hanging piece which is currently hanging in my bathroom. Here's what I did
-You'll need a stick or something to hang the scarf from, scissors and a glue gun -cut the scarf, thread it through your hanging item of choice, glue the ends so they don't unravel later and done!
Easy peasy!
